1. What denomination are you?

Heavenworks is an inter-denominational Evangelical ministry sharing God’s love. We are followers of Christ. We believe in the moral authority and infallibility of the Word of God. We believe God provided different streams of faith God that all might find a comfortable way to gather and worship together.

No Monopoly

God is love. He loves people. No denomination, ministry nor person in the Body of Christ can rightly claim any exclusive anointing, privilege or monopoly on doctrinal “rightness” before God. There is no exclusive franchise on the work of the Almighty.

The anointing is simply His manifest presence among His people. God works through all people who invite His presence and who make room for Him...including those belonging to denominations.

Students

We are lifelong students of the Bible. Our goal is to continue growing in greater intimacy with God: to know Him. Since God is Infinite, we do not presume we will ever “arrive” at perfect intimacy or complete understanding.

For this reason, we are not, nor do we ever aspire to become, experts in the Bible. In Biblical times, it was usually the experts who were the last to recognize Jesus as Messiah. We do not wish to imitate them!
As we pursue God, we continue to be surprised by new revelations of the depths of His Person, His love. We do not aspire to ever become experts in what God will not do. We resist being labelled. Labels are by nature divisive, and are usually not very informative. Labels can even be used to dismiss a legitimate move of God.

Works in Progress

We believe in reformation, the process by which our Heavenly Father ongoingly shapes the believer for good. The greatest reformation is always the one God would do right now, in our own hearts, as we continue to submit ourselves to be formed in His image.

Followers of Jesus

We are Evangelicals, followers of Jesus.

The Work of the Holy Spirit

We believe in the Holy Spirit, living in and working through the believer. This is a work of progression, not perfection. As people of God who experience and flow in the ministry of the Holy Spirit today, we would accurately fall into the broad and varied group of Christians labelled as Charismatic or Pentecostal. These are found in almost all major denominations.

2. Since you publish the Revelation Dramatization, what is your views on the Last Days timetables?

The Second Coming of Christ is the most anticipated event in human history. However, the Bible does not offer enough information to provide an accurate timetable for Jesus’ return. Perhaps future Socio-political events will onlock or clarify prophetic “clues” in the Bible. Frequently Biblical prophecy makes most sense after the fact.

Since Jesus said Himself the exact day or hour of His return is a secret, known only to the Father, we do not consider speculation about timetables to be worthy of our time.

We do not consider personal beliefs on the subject to be significant, relevant, or even informative. We believe it is of infinitely greater importance to be prepared for His return. If we are prepared for His return, we will be rewarded when He does.

3. Since you are a non-profit organization, why don’t you just give away all your work?

We would love to be able to simply make all our ministry tools available for free. These materials require a great deal of time, effort and resources to publish. Although we have supporters, we have no sponsors simply giving us a “blank check” to meet all our ministry needs.

Selling ministry tools in areas where it is practical helps us fund our work in less affluent areas.

4. Is it okay if we republish your free materials on our own website?

No. We retain the copyright on all work distributed on this site. In order to maintain our site’s integrity, we do not authorize the republishing these materials without permission. Thank you for respecting the hard work that goes into preparing these materials!

5. Why is your forum by invitation only?

Our forum is limited to the discussion of specific topics by qualified participants. Opening up our forum to anyone and everyone would be impractical and poor stewardship.

6. How can I participate in your forum?

You will find more information on this topic in the forum section of this site.

7. Why are you based in the United States if your focus is the Francophone world?

The Francophone world is very spread out. We are also involved in ministry in other areas. There is no practical central place for us to be located...except the internet, through which we can reach the entire world!

9. Can I know for sure I am going to heaven?

Yes you can!

John 10:27,28 provides the answer. Jesus said:

27My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. 28I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one can snatch them out of my hand.

If you are a child of God, you have no doubt about it. You hear His voice. He is leading you step by step. You are following Him.
